Tis the season, I see the lights but I feel broken
The world Is hurting, hate is tearing us apart
This maze of walls between us, has left us frozen
Afraid to take a step together in the dark

Perhaps you’re busy wrapping presents by a tree 
Or you’re alone and all you want to do is grieve 
But we can find another way this Christmas, just walk

I can’t say I know a lot about religion
But I think Jesus wanted love instead of hate 
And we should work together finding ways to light the darkest winter days
Spread love, shine light, provide some sweet relief
Let’s give peace this year and we can all break free

Some say they’re right, the other side is wrong
Then they distract us, so we never see the good
Some tell us difference makes us weak instead of strong
Afraid they’ll lose their power if we turn to love

But love’s more powerful than all these hateful walls
We’ve trapped ourselves inside them, but we can tear them down
We can give a little peace this year
We can find a little peace this time, Just walk
